Fall is in the air...

I've never done any decorating for fall before.

But when I saw this pot of purple mums at Lowes last weekend, I couldn't resist.

Then Michael's had craft pumpkins on sale, so I snatched up two for about $12 and spray painted them with Krylon champagne satin finish spray paint.

(side note: YHL's & my husbands spray painting tips are finally working! No runs or gloppiness. Just smooth and even paint. Wooo!)

I love how it looks. It's pretty and fallish and elegant.
