Here is a widely known fact for you: I don't want kids. It's not even that I don't want them, I don't even like them. I have absolutely zero maternal instincts and I have no desire to have a kid. People always tell me it's different when it's your own child... but I don't think it would be with me. I've felt this way about kids and parenthood as far back as I can remember. Seriously. I remember being 11-12 years old and knowing I never would want kids.
Anyways. The neighborhood my office is in takes part in this HUGE trick or treating event on Halloween. From 3:00-6:00 kids go to all of the offices and business to trick or treat. Everyone in the office told me it was going to be crazy busy. I hoped they were exaggerating.
They were not.
I think we saw well over 1500 kids today. And gave out more candy than I've ever seen. Take a look:
Happy freaking Halloween!
How much candy, if any, was left over? That's a lot of candy! Happy Halloween! :) ~ Ann
ReplyDeleteNot one single piece was left over! And we even ran out before it was over (it was over @ 6:00, we ran out at 5:30)!
ReplyDeleteOh my word that is beyond crazy! I have never seen so much candy in one place before. Not to mention running out a half hour before its over goodness! You must of been hating it since you arent a fan of kids! I just discovered your blog and am your newest follower!
