Mother-Daughter Trip 2012

We didn't start of with the greatest weather...
But a fruity cocktail brightened up the day.
Especially when you're drinking from a giant pineapple.
I've been wearing my engagement ring for two years now =)
The Monarch of the Seas.
Cloudy day at Coco Cay

Seeing lifeboats lowered is never a fun thing (even when it's a safety drill).
The beaches of Atlantis were SO beautiful.
I could have sat there all day.

I had such a great time with my mom!
Love the towel animals!!!

Beautiful sunset on our last night!

Mom & I had such a fantastic time on our cruise. In my opinion, cruising is the absolute cheapest way to travel. The cruise itself cost us $200 each, and then we spent another $250 each on alcohol, excursions, souvenirs, etc.

I had been on a cruise before, with my college boyfriend. We had a great time, but didn't really take advantage of all the cruise ship had to offer. But mom & I did everything. We went to the casinos, we went to see shows every night, we played bingo, we went to the parties on deck. It was an absolute blast! The cruise director and his staff were phenomenal. There was one guy, Erky from Turkey. Oh my Jesus. I laughed so hard I spit out pineapple & vodka, and had a stomach ache.

The Monarch of the Seas is one of Royal Caribbeans oldest & smallest ships, but it's just perfect if you're taking a short getaway. I can't wait to go with Graham on a cruise (or anyone else who wants to go ;) )!
